“Easy Reasoning” Explained

including "Reasoning with Arithmetic" to be purchased separately

The “Easy Reasoning” curriculum for home schools or private schools was developed using the Biblical Classical method of education.

“Easy Reasoning” is a Christian curriculum, not only Christian in its material content, but also in its method of teaching.  The curriculum’s emphasis is placed upon how the principles of each subject are derived from God’s nature and character, presenting a truly Biblical worldview.  Every subject the teacher teaches should help you build a deeper relationship with Christ, and help you better understand God’s purpose for you.

The Biblical Classical curriculum sets out to make an easier task of teaching the Biblical Worldview; Easy Reasoning is completely developed for the entire school year.  Also, several ideas are presented in a unit study format, to show relationships between different subjects.

This curriculum provides easy ways to answer hard questions – in depth questions - that pertain to life application.  The “Easy Reasoning” curriculum was intended to come along side and aid the teaching parent in raising the child with a Biblical world view of his subjects.  It answers many of the “why” questions children have.

About the Phonics

The phonics program in “Easy Reasoning” is streamlined; it is based on the Spaulding Method (“The Writing Road to Reading®”). The “Easy Reasoning” phonics is distinctive in two ways:  It continually rewards because it teaches reading in incremental steps; also, included with “Easy Reasoning – K” is a set of Phonic Strips to help him compare and contrast the sounds.  Each small group of phonograms learned empowers the student be able to read one of the 6 beginning readers; this, in turn, motivates him to learn the next group of phonograms.  He learns to read without “sight words” because he knows the phonetic sounds and rules behind our language enabling him to reason through the individual sounds to form a new word each time.

The themes of Manners and Following the Right Path are woven throughout.
